With most smartphone companies gearing up or having already released curved phone designs in some Asian markets, Apple most likely also has something up its sleeve. Curved glass manufacturer Corning has just announced that their 3D-shaped Gorilla Glass is ready for production, prompting speculation of how Apple might use the material in upcoming products. Among the most mentioned are the iWatch and iPhone 6 with a larger curved display. Dutch designer Lewi Hussey, a member of the Apple Fantasy Prototyping League (AFPL), has created images and a video imagining how the iPhone 6 could look with the technology. The results are undoubtedly impressive, with a thinner body and more user-friendly silhouette. Of course for now it’s just a concept, but who knows what Apple might have in store for us in 2014
