It’s Official: ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ Drops More F-Bombs Than Any Movie

The Wolf Of Wall Street” is the movie everybody is talking about these days, and with good reason.
Leonardo DiCaprio mastered his role of 26-year-old millionaire Jordan Belfort, who schemed $110 million dollars out of his company’s investors. His over-the-top, luxurious lifestyle may have been exaggerated in the film, but it was speculator and eye-opening nonetheless.
The life style present in the film isn’t the only ridiculous aspect given the hefty amount of times characters drop the F bomb.
The word f*ck was used 506 times over the 180 minute running time of the film. Before “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Spike Lee‘s film “Summer of Sam” had the previous record of 435 F-bombs.
Martin Scorsese has a reputation for profanity, with two of his other films, “Casino” (422) and “Goodfellas” (300) in the top 20 for most uses of the word “f*ck.”

Paul Walker's Autopsy Results Released, Fate of His Fast and the Furious 7 Role Revealed

Paul Walker, Fast and Furious 4Universal Pictures
Paul Walker's official cause of death was released by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office Friday.
According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Walker died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries." The report went on to say that the Porsche he and Roger Rodas crashed in was going approximately 100 mph.
No traces of alcohol or drugs were found in either body.
Walker had "multiple fractures throughout his body, including his jaw, collarbone and left upper arm."
The report added that Walker's body was laying in a "pugilistic stance," as if he was bracing for impact.
There was also "scant soot in Walker's trachea," which suggests that he may have taken a breath after the crash.
The coroner found that there was 14 percent carbon monoxide saturation in Walker's blood stream, while Rodas had 10 percent. The normal level is 2 percent.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Fast and the Furious Universal
And while the report shed some more light into the fallen actor's death, producers are working around the clock to decide Walker's character's fate in Fast and the Furious 7.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, top executives have decided on how the main role, Brian O'Connor, will leave the successful films.
Apparently, O'Connor will retire and not be killed off of the action-packed franchise.
In another turn of events for the regarding Walker, two men accused with stealing from the crash site appeared in a Los Angeles County courtroom and agreed to return for a Feb. 25 preliminary hearing.
Jameson Witty and Anthony Janow were charged last month with felony grant theft and two misdemeanors counts each for destroying evidence and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.

This Open Letter To The Makers Of ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ Will Change Your Perspective On The Film

This Open Letter To The Makers Of ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ Will Change Your Perspective On The Film
A daughter of a former business partner of the real Wolf of Wall Street has penned an open letter to L.A. Weekly to alert movie-goers of the part of Jordan Belfort‘s story Martin Scorsese chose not to include in his film: the effect his crimes had on the families of the investors involved.
The girl’s name is Christina McDowell, and she was just a freshman in college when she attended the trial of her father,Tom Prousalis.
Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, is described as the government’s “star witness” to testify against Prousalis. Belfort had just pleaded guilty to money-laundering and securities fraud, and would go on to avoid years of jail time by ratting on a whole slew of criminals similar to himself.
As McDowell writes, Prousalis and Belfort “were in cahoots together with a list of ‘seemingly innocuous, legitimate companies’ that did not actually exist yet were all taken public to con unsuspecting investors and make the pair along with many others at Stratton Oakmont Inc. millions of dollars richer.”
The letter then takes an ugly turn as McDowell describes the day her father went to prison.
She recalls her mother locking herself in the bathroom and throwing up, not only because her husband was going under but because he had taken the family down with him.
Prousalis laundered money in his daughter’s name and hid what was left of the family’s assets in a Wells Fargo account.
McDowell, just 18, was receiving multiple phone calls from creditors and investors threatening to sue her. Her father had also left her her nearly $100,000 worth of debt.
The family was left almost penniless after the entire Wells Fargo account was liquidated. Her younger sister ran away at 17, and McDowell lived on other people’s couches and out of her car for roughly two years.
Starving and ashamed, McDowell barely survived on tips from her restaurant job. She even had to change her name because her father technically stole her identity by setting up the aforementioned account.
“It’s a pretty confusing experience to go from flying private with Dad to an evening where he’s begging you for a piece of your paycheck so he can buy food for dinner,” she writes.
The worst part, McDowell says, is that she still believed her father was innocent and that the government and Belfort were the bad guys.
“I believed that by taking out all those credit cards in my name, my father was attempting to save me. I believed him when he got out, and when he told me everything would be OK. I believed him until he tried to do the same thing all over again — until I was at risk of being arrested myself (and I’m saving that story for the memoir).”
McDowell then lays into the director and actors of “The Wolf of Wall Street” for painting such a positive picture of Stratton Oakmont and leaving out what these people and their co-conspirators did to their families and clients.
She calls Martin Scorsese “dangerous” for making movie-goers believe that Jordan Belfort was not an evil human being, and that his schemes are entertaining rather than the real-life tragedies.
“Come on, we know the truth,” she says. “This kind of behavior brought America to its knees.”
McDowell labels lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio a disgusting hypocrite for claiming to be a model humanitarian who then glorifies Belfort’s crimes as well as the film’s frequent misogyny.
“Did you think about the cultural message you’d be sending when you decided to make this film?” she asks.
“You have successfully aligned yourself with an accomplished criminal, a guy who still hasn’t made full restitution to his victims, exacerbating our national obsession with wealth and status and glorifying greed and psychopathic behavior.”
McDowell sees Belfort’s true face because she was exposed to the same luxuries and privileges he was. She drove a Range Rover in high school, “snorted half of Colombia,” and got every guy she wanted because her father would regularly take them for rides in his private planes.
But then she discovered who her father really was: a cruel, soulless money addict obsessed with wealth and fame. Scorsese’s film makes Belfort look like a good person underneath, but McDowell is positive that like her father, he’s less of a man than the homeless guy they pass on the street every day.
Some of McDowell’s father’s victims lost everything. They cannot afford to send their kids to college, pay their medical bills, and will struggle to pay off their debts until they are dead.
“Let me ask you guys something,” McDowell writes as her letter comes to a close.
“What makes you think this man deserves to be the protagonist in this story? Do you think his victims are going to want to watch it? Did we forget about the damage that accompanied all those rollicking good times? Or are we sweeping it under the carpet for the sale of a movie ticket? And not just on any day, but on Christmas morning?”

McDowell ends by urging us not to support “The Wolf of Wall Street” because it only provokes people like Belfort to go even farther with their crimes. The film lacks the reality of their wrongdoings, she says, and every time we celebrate Scorsese’s film, the more wolves we help create.

Dakota Johnson Filming Fifty Shades of Grey—See Pics from the Vancouver Set!

Dakota Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey© Kred, PacificCoastNews
Dakota Johnson is visiting Jamie Dornan at the office.
The 24-year-old actress, who portrays Anastasia Steele in the steamy film adaptation ofFifty Shades of Grey, was photographed filming a scene on Sunday, Dec. 8 in Vancouver.
Johnson was sporting a layered schoolgirl look, wearing a flower patterned blouse, a baby blue sweater, long blue coat, a bright blue skirt, black tights and black boots. Her hair was styled in a ponytail and she was also toting around some books.
The blond beauty, who has some darker locks for the role, was making her way towards a building with the sign "Grey Enterprises," which refers to Christian Grey's business company.

Johnson is the innocent and beautiful college student turned recent graduate, who falls for Dornan, the handsome copper-haired entrepreneur. His obsession with S&M is eventually revealed and he asks her to be his submissive lover. But that's the tame version of the erotic romantic story, of course.
The star is working hard to stay in shape for all her time in the Red Room of Pain, and it seems that she has adopted the latest Hollywood diet trend: juicing.
Johnson and director Sam Taylor-Johnson have been ordering juices from The Juice Box, an organic cold-pressed raw juice company based in Vancouver.
"They order the organic cold-press juices. They love them. They have a standing order for them," an insider exclusively told E! News, adding that the pair "are not doing a cleanse and are basically drinking a couple each day."

‘The Hungover Games’ Is The Hunger Games Parody You’ve Been Waiting For (Video)

‘The Hungover Games’ Is The Hunger Games Parody You’ve Been Waiting For (Video)
Aside from “Airplane”, “Dont Be A Menace To South Central” and a select other few, spoof movies are for the most part pretty awful – and there’s just no way around that sad fact.
Sony Pictures is hoping to defy the odds with their upcoming movie, “The Hungover Games.” From the trailer and title, they’ve obviously chosen “The Hangover” and “The Hunger Games” as the two primary movies the movie will ridicule.
However there are appearances from quite a few other top grossing films, including “Ted” and “Django”. Here’s to hoping it doesn’t suck… but it probably will.

What Does The Minion Say? This Minion Dance Video Will Easily Make Your Day

You don’t have to be a kid to love the minions in “Despicable Me“…you just have to be kind of high.
In all seriousness, everyone loves the minions and they are probably the only reason anyone went to see “Despicable Me 2,” which was surprisingly good apart from the yellow guys.
Anyways, a film student decided to make one of the yellow minions dance to the over-popularized “The Fox“ by Ylvis to show off his animation skills, and he did a pretty damn good job. So whether you like “Despicable Me” or not, this dancing minion will probably make your day.

The Hunger Games: Catching FireMurray Close/Lionsgate
This was no turkey.
Moviegoers couldn't get enough of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday as the Lionsgate sequel gobbled up a whopping $110.1 million during the Wednesday to Sunday period, including a $75 million Friday-Sunday tally to bestFrozen.
Disney's 3D animated musical hit theaters Wednesday and also did spectacular business, earning an estimated $93 million over the five-day frame, including $66 million according to stats compiled by Box Office Mojo.
Catching Fire and Frozen set Thanksgiving records for the three-day weekend and five-day holiday, blowing past the mark set by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which brought in a then-boffo $57.5 million and $82.4 million over those same frames.
FrozenDisney
Even more remarkable, despite managing to come in second in the box office rankings,Frozen still achieved the milestone of being the biggest holiday debut ever, surpassing Toy Story 2's $80.1 million five-day Thanksgiving record set back in 1999.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, The Show Queen, and featuring the voice of Kristen Bell as Elsa, the young princess of Arendelle, the flick also soared past the Mouse House's last princess-centric cartoon, 2010's Tangled.
With a domestic haul of $296 million in its second week of release along with the cool $276 million in foreign ticket sales it's racked up, Catching Fire has so far blazed a $573 million trail at the worldwide box office. And by the looks of things, it doesn't look like it's going to be cooling anytime soon.
Disney and Marvel, meanwhile, continued to showcase their box office muscle as Thor: The Dark World hammered its way to a third place finish with $15.4 million for the five-day Thanksgiving holiday after opening at number one earlier this month. All told, the mighty thunder god has grossed a massive $591 million globally.
And in a bit of counter-programming, Universal's rom-com The Best Man Holiday held strong in the fourth spot with $11.1 million. Its cumulative total now stands at $63.4 million after 17 days in release.
Here's a complete rundown of the Wednesday-Sunday estimates, per Box Office Mojo:
1. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire: $110 million
2. Frozen: $93 million
3. Thor: The Dark World: 15.4 million
4. The Best Man Holiday: 11.1 million
5. Homefront: $9.7 million
6. Delivery Man: $9.6 million
7. The Book Thief: $6.3 million
8. Black Nativity: $5 million
9. Philomena: $4.6 million
10. Last Vegas: $3.8 million

The Official NSFW Trailer for Lars von Trier’s ‘Nymphomaniac’

nymphomaniac-official-trailer-1

Many clips have been released to tease the the release of Lars von Trier‘s very-NSFW filmNymphomaniac. Finally, we can present the official trailer. The film follows von Trier’s usual style of films that are both disturbing and controversial, yet strangely hypnotic and engaging, centered around Joe, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, who plays a self-proclaimed nymphomaniac. Staying true to the director’s ethos, everything shot in the film, including all the sexual exploits, illegal or otherwise, have been shot in reality.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire: Where Are We Now With Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, Gale Hawthorne and More!

Hunger Games: Catching FireLionsgate
If you're anxiously anticipating the release of Catching Fire, in theaters on Friday, Nov. 22, you are not alone, tributes.
But before we re-visit the nation of Panem and join the world of 12 unique districts, as well the powerful Capitol, there's a lot to re-hash from The Hunger Games. Let's recap where we left off at the end of Suzanne Collins' young adult novel film adaptation, and what we can expect from Catching Fire.
And a fair warning, spoilers are ahead so if you don't want to know the outcome of the first book, stop reading!
Hunger Games: Catching FireLionsgate
It was an exciting finale to the 74th Annual Hunger Games as District 12 tributes Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) were both declared winners, a first-time event in the history of the games. The competition is between 24 contestants, also known as tributes, selected at random from the 12 districts during the "reaping" ceremonies. Katniss took her sister, Primrose Everdeen's (Willow Shields) spot. Remember when Katniss famously yelled "Prim, Prim! I volunteeer as tribute!" Of course you do.
Let's take a step back to find out how they won, because it wasn't without controversy and severe consequences. In the middle of the Capitol-controlled battle in the intricate arena, a rule was read that if both tributes from the same district survived the games, they would both be victorious. So, when our favorite heroine and her "love" interest (they did share a sweet kiss!) killed off the last remaining tribute—Cato from District 2—the rule was immediately (and unfairly) revoked. Unable to kill each other and fight to the death, Katniss hatched a brilliant plan that they both eat poisonous berries, also known as "nightlock." But, of course, somebody has to win, so as the duo raised the fatal fruit to their lips in an extremely tense moment, they were both declared the winners.
The Hunger Games: Catching FireMurray Close/Lionsgate
This daring move by Katniss leads to a warning from former District 12 winner and her mentor, Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), that her actions will have severe consequences for her, her loved ones and all of the districts. Unless, of course, she says she acted out of love for her fellow tribute. But this is a dicey situation for our heroine, who let's not forget has hunting partner/flirty friend Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) back home.
And, even though Haymitch drinks from the bottle a little too much, he correctly predicts their rebellious act of breaking the game rules will spell out problems in the very near future. Case in point: evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland) will have his vengeance. The last scene of the film shows the icy tyrannical leader of Panem monitoring Katniss and Peeta as their home cheers for them.
And that's where Hunger Games ends and Catching Fire begins. What is in store for the second installment of the trilogy?
Hunger Games, Catching Fire Stills
The "Victory Tour," in which Katniss and Peeta visit all of the districts, will no doubt shed light on the rebellions they have sparked within the districts by defying the powerful Capitol. President Snow is not done with these two yet and hatches an evil plan for the 75th Hunger Games, also known as the "Quarter Quell."
Some 24 victors from previous years will be forced to compete once again and since there are no female victors besides Katniss from District 12, she is forced back into the arena. Even though Haymitch is selected during the reaping, Peeta takes his spot in the bloody battle to the death. So, who are the tributes from the competing districts? We meet the very handsome District 4 victor Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) as well as sarcastic District 7 victor Johanna Mason (Jena Malone), to name a few. The always quirky District 12 chaperone Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) is back as well as Katniss' stylist Cinna (Lenny Kravitz).
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Catching FireLionsgate
Will Katniss and Peeta inspire a full-blown revolution? Is there a real romantic future between the District 12 tributes? What about Katniss' relationship with Gale? And whole will be victorious in the Quarter Quell?
We will have to wait and see!  Are you excited for Catching Fire? Sound off in the comments!

Liam Hemsworth Shows Up to Support Brother Chris Hemsworth at Thor: The Dark World Premiere

Liam Hemsworth, Chris HemsworthKevin Winter/Getty Images
Now this is a couple of studly siblings.
On a break from shooting MockingjayLiam Hemsworth hit the premiere of Thor: The Dark World tonight at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre in support of the film's star, his brother Chris Hemsworth.
Big red-carpet premieres have been family affairs for these guys in the past, but Liam skipped the New York premiere of Chris' racing drama Rush to avoid any awkward Q&A right after splitting up with Miley Cyrus.
And while this wasn't Liam's first red carpet since the breakup, it was his first film premiere.
It's high time for the 23-year-old actor to get used to the spotlight again, however:The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters Nov. 22, and junkets, TV appearances and red carpet banter will be required.
As for big brother Chris, the Thor hunk admitted to E! News at the Rush premiere that Liam missed that he and wife Elsa Pataky were "lucky" that the media let them fly under the radar, comparatively speaking.
Liam Hemsworth, ThorMark Malkin
"You never know why the media is attracted to one thing or not interested in one thing," Chris said. "I've been lucky, my wife and I live a pretty normal existence."
No kidding: The Australian actor even said in the latest issue of Details that he doesn't quite remember his wedding anniversary.
"Uh, I should know the answer to this. There's a bit of a dispute...So yeah, answer about the date of my wedding: somewhere in December."
How "normal" is that?!

Charlie Hunnam Taking Christian Grey Role "Very Seriously," Intends to "Look Good in Those Suits"

Charlie Hunnam Taking Christian Grey Role "Very Seriously," Intends to "Look Good in Those Suits"

Charlie HunnamCourtesy of Frank Micelotta/Invision for FX/AP Images
Charlie Hunnam wants to reassure Fifty Shades of Grey fans that he's ready to temporarily take off his leather cut and rock a silver tie.
Just over a month ago, the Sons of Anarchystar swooped in under everyone's radar and landed the leading role of Christian Grey in the highly anticipated adaptation of E.L. James' erotica novel, and although he may not have been the front-runner—or in the running at all—for some readers (many were eyeing Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder), Hunnam is confident he'll do the character justice.
"There are so many fans of that book and I know that on the surface, I'm probably not what everybody imagined," the actor told Entertainment Weekly. "Because reading is so personal and people bring a character to life in their imagination, they feel ownership over that character."
The blue-eyed hunk continued, "That's daunting if I allowed myself to think about it too much. I'm taking it very seriously and intend to explore the nature of who this character is, what motivates him—and also dress up nice and look good in those suits." (Looking good in the suits, or anything for that matter, won't be an issue, darlin'.)
A couple of his FX costars also spoke out about Charlie's upcoming project, and have nothing but faith that Hunnam will bring it home.
    Charlie Hunnam, Pacific Rim
"When he told me that it was happening or that he was considering, it I just howled. I mean I think we all did. We're all like, what?" Maggie Siff, the lucky lady that gets to play his wife Tara on the TV series, said.
"And then talked to him seriously about it. I think he's very brave to it. He doesn't do anything unless he feels it deep down. He's not going to do something because all of his agents are telling him to do something. That's what makes me think it stands a chance of being really, really great. If he has that conviction going in, then you know it'll be great."
Katey Sagal, who plays Hunnam's mother Gemma, echoed Siff's sentiments.
"I'm really proud of him," she told EW. "The choice was not an obvious one for him. But for good or bad, he will throw himself 100 percent in. I don't know if I want to see all that, but maybe," while her husband and SOA creator Kurt Sutter added, "We're thrilled for Charlie. He works hard, constantly challenges himself and his craft. He is a star, in all the right ways."
