Mamma mia!
Kim Kardashian gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek of her sexiest look yet on Tuesday, Oct. 1—but the snapshot didn't do her outfit justice! Joined by Givenchy designer Richard Tisci, theKeeping Up With the Kardashians star showed off her post-baby body in a black gown that featured a plunging neckline and triangular cutouts around her waist.
Kardashian served as Tisci's "date" for the Mademoiselle C Cocktail Party at the Pavilion Ledoyen in Paris, France. Other attendees included Miranda KerrKate UptonKaty Perry and Rita Ora.
The 32-year-old shared a second Instagram picture after dinner, which showed the look from three different angles. "Last night in Paris! This dress pulled off the runway from the Givenchy show!" Kardashian wrote. "Styled by @riccardotisci17 & @crfashionbook for Carine's film Mademoiselle C!"
Just days earlier, new parents Kardashian and Kanye West attended the Givenchy runway show during Paris Fashion Week. Tisci later gifted baby North with a custom "Baby Bambi" shirt. "Thank you Ricardo," the first-time mom wrote in an Instagram caption.

Kim Kardashian's back on American ground.
The E! star, who spent the last few days in Paris enjoying Fashion Week with her beau Kanye West, caused a bit of a media frenzy when landing solo at Los Angeles International Airport after being swarmed by paparazzi.
And guess who was right in the middle of the shutterbugs joining the picture-snapping party? Morgan Spurlock.
Yep, the documentary filmmaker (who recently used his creative juices for One Direction's This Is Us) is currently working on a project about the paps, and got some first-hand experience on that lifestyle today.

Kim showed off her amazing post-baby curves throughout her trip.
And although she strutted a handful of memorable numbers, one in particular really got people talking.
She stunned in a cleavage-baring Givenchy dress (pulled right off the runway) that left little to the imagination. Kim paired the cutout gown with a dark lip (super in for fall!) and pushed her hair to the off to the side to frame her face.
"Last night in Paris! This dress pulled off the runway from the Givenchy show! Styled by@riccardotisci17 & @crfashionbook for Carine's film Mademoiselle C!" she wrote on Instagram with three shots of the outfit

Designer Parodies Test Legal Boundaries in Streetwear

The wonderful people at WWD have put together a fantastic article that we believe will peak your interest, it involves the many designer parodies that we have come to love. Instead of Hermès, swagger-jackers across the globe can rock “Homiés” sweatshirts by Brian Lichtenberg; instead of Balmain, there’s the “Nawman” T-shirts by Reason Clothing; and instead of authentic Givenchy, a “Tisci” football jersey by LPD New York will do. Luxury fashion houses and their famous logos are being “re-created” by streetwear brands–indicative of the ongoing dialogue between high fashion and youth culture.
Central to the trend, however, are the legal issues of trademark protection — and what legal strategies designer brands should pursue to guard their logos while cultivating a potential constituency of style-savvy customers.
“I think this is a very current trend and issue. You have the convergence of constitutional law, free-speech issues, intellectual property law and a general overlay of business and commercial law. It’s a fascinating area,” said Douglas Hand, a partner at Hand Baldachin & Amburgey, a firm with a large fashion industry practice. “I think designer brands should be very vigilant to these issues. The main value of these companies is their intellectual property, specifically, their trademarks. Given that, to not diligently police and enforce trademarks in this industry is just not good business.”
