Watch the Unoffical Music Video for “The Devil is A Lie” by Rick Ross & Jay Z

While unofficial music videos can be hit-or-miss, Ash Innovator’s take on Rick Ross and Jay Z’s “The Devil is A Lie” is a real work of art. Responsible for the viral sensation “Cold/Theraflu” from Kanye West back in 2012 that had a young rapper in place of the aforementioned West, his newest creation once again utilizes unlikely orators.

Kim Kardashian Proves She Has A Soul By Inviting A Fan To Party With Her

Kim Kardashian Proves She Has A Soul By Inviting A Fan To Party With Her
Kim Kardashian actually cares about things other than her appearance!
She made one 19-year-old fan’s night in New Orleans over the weekend when she invited the girl and her friend to join her in her VIP suite at fiance Kanye West‘s concert.
The fan, Myleeza aka @MyleezaKardash, is a huge Kim Kardashian fan and reached out to the star via Twitter while at the concert. What this girl is a huge fan of is honestly beyond me but hey, to each their own.
Check out some of Myleeza’s tweets to see how much of a devoted fan she really is.

Kanye West Reportedly Leaves Nike and Signs Deal with adidas’s Y-3

kanye-west-reportedly-leaves-nike-for-adidas-y3-1

Kanye West has reportedly left Nike to pursue his own line with adidas’s Y-3 label. Referred to as “YEEZI,” the new venture is suspected to be the outcome of Kanye spending time at the 2014 Mercedes-Benz NYFW show with Y-3 lead designer Yohji Yamamoto. “You see me in interviews how I want to do clothes,” said Kanye at his November 20 performance in Brooklyn. “I want to let you know I signed my deal a week and a half ago.”
Let’s say this is true, and let’s assume the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red Octobers” still go on sale… Eventually. Once all that is finished, what should we expect from Kanye’s new line? From high fashion down to performance wear, there will simply be no limits (considering Y-3′s history). This might be Y-3′s best move in a long time or it might be the worst move the label has ever done.
At the same time we are hearing that Kanye West continues to design his own namesake brand with a team in Milan, also including his very own footwear under the Kanye West name. The issue with that, as we have seen with his first brand Pastelle a few years ago, you cannot be sure that the goods will ever come to market.
As usual, we will of course keep you posted.

Kanye West Confirms adidas Partnership and Details Why He Left Nike

Kanye-West-Confirms-adidas-Partnership-and-Details-Why-He-Left-Nike-01

During his recent interview with Angie Martinez on New York’s Hot 97, Kanye West confirmed that he has formed a partnership with adidas. “So then I start turning up in the BBC interview,” Kanye explains. “So [Nike] said, ok cool, we’re gonna give you a bigger sandbox to play in. We’re gonna give you this amount right here to design, and two collections a year, and 30 SKU — that’s the amount of items that you have. Would that make you happy, Kanye?” And rightfully so, Kanye replied: “I need royalties.”
Nike reportedly told him that wasn’t possible because he isn’t a professional athlete. To which he righteously replied, “I go to the Garden and play one-on-none. I’m a performance athlete.” He continued, “So the old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nikes so much. But the new me, with a daughter, takes the adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.”
Watch the video here below, of Kanye West talking on Hot 97, about the situation.

James Franco And Seth Rogen Team Up To Recreate Kim And Kanye’s ‘Bound 2′ Video, Scene By Scene (Video)

James Franco And Seth Rogen Team Up To Recreate Kim And Kanye’s ‘Bound 2′ Video, Scene By Scene (Video)
Last week, Kanye West released his music video for “Bound 2,” which features a topless Kim Kardashian straddling Kanye on a motorcycle. Why? Because Kanye.
Well, actors James Franco and Seth Rogen have decided to create a parody video scene by scene. Franco portrays Kanye West while Rogen embodies his inner Kim K.
According to The Daily Beast, “While on the set of their movie, ‘The Interview,’ James Franco & Seth Rogen felt inspired to recreate their favorite new video. Shot. For. Shot.”
Check out the parody below followed by a side-by-side comparison with the original.

Honestly, the parody sh*ts on the original. Why? Because James Franco, of course.

Kanye West Basically Releases A Sex Tape With Kim Kardashian And Calls It The Video For ‘Bound 2′ (Video)

Kanye West Basically Releases A Sex Tape With Kim Kardashian And Calls It The Video For ‘Bound 2′ (Video)
Kanye West has released the video for his Ray J revenge record “Bound 2″ off Yeezus. On one version of the song, Kanye drops the line, “Brandy‘s little brother lame and he know it now.”
The song addresses promiscuity, and the video features Kanye and a topless Kim Kardashian riding a motorcycle.
Kanye premiered the video on “The Ellen Show” for no discernible reason. Ellen DeGeneres still has the personality of a plant.

Kanye West Gives a Guest Lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design

kanye-west-harvard-talk-1

After making his interests in the creative world clear through the many interviews he has given recently, Kanye West took his ideas to an academic arena on Sunday night with a lecture at Harvard University. His inspiring talk covered architecture, fashion and self-realization to a hall packed full of eager listeners. You can read the transcript of his lecture below or watch the video here.
So after walking through here I decided that I wanted to make sure for anyone that didn’t have tickets tonight that you all could have tickets to the show. So anybody who wants to come tonight, you can have tickets for the entire office! [CHEERS, MAD LAUGHTER]
But I just wanted to tell you guys: I really do believe that the world can be saved through design, and everything needs to actually be “architected.” And this is the reason why even some of the first DONDA employees were architects that started designing T-shirts instead of buildings. But just to see the work actually be actualized.
If I sit down and talk to Oprah for 2 hours, the conversation is about realization, self-realization and actually seeing your creativity happen in front of you. So the reason why I turn up so much in interviews is because I’ve tasted what it means to create and be able to impact, and affect in a positive way.
And I know that there’s more creativity to happen. And I know that there’s traditionalists that hold back the good thoughts and there’s people in offices that stop the creative people, and [who] are intimidated by actual good ideas.
I believe that utopia is actually possible – but we’re led by the least noble, the least dignified, the least tasteful, the dumbest, and the most political. So in no way am I a politician – I’m usually at my best politically incorrect [LAUGHTER] and very direct. I really appreciate you guys’ willingness to learn and hone your craft, and not be lazy about creation.
I’m very inspired to be in this space. Tonight, this show, if you come see it – um, I’m a bit self-conscious because I’m showing it to architects. [LAUGHTER] So the stage does have flaws in it. [LAUGHTER] It’s an expression of emotion so give me a pass on that. And that’s basically all I have to say so thank you very much.

A Highsnobiety Halloween | 10 Pop-Culture Inspired Costumes

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-16

Halloween is a time when real personalities become worldwide phenomenona and pop culture standouts step out of the land of make believe and into true existence. We live in a world where we may not admit that the aforementioned “cultural ambassadors” influence our style, but it’s hard to deny the effect that some of these people have on fashion. Call it a costume on October 31 or just call it “my style” the other 364 days out of the year. Highsnobiety plays in a space where we encounter everything from outrageous musicians, to innovators, to artists, to fictitious people on a daily basis. If you’re in need of a last minute costume, we’ve got you wrapped like a mummy.

Kanye West
Hands down the most polarizing figure in popular music, Kanye West‘s musical accomplishments are often either complemented by his unique style or overlooked depending on who you’re talking to. West’s tour with Jay Z for Watch The Throne saw the Chicago rapper clad in almost nothing but Givenchy apparel. For West’s latest tour, however, he opted for a healthy smattering of Maison Martin Margiela. It goes without saying then the look will cost you a pretty penny and an unrivaled amount of access to the French fashion house. Just the mask, in fact, will run you a cool $20,000.
Coinciding with the Yeezus tour’s beginnings, the label announced it had produced a number of exclusive pieces at its Parisian atelier based on garments in its archives including an embroidered, elongated bomber jacket, a blanket coat and printed trousers. MMM also developed a special pair of sneakers for West to wear alongside his signature Red Octobers. Although MMM only officially announced its responsibility for some of the pieces, a report in London’s Telegraphcredits the fashion house with all the looks for the tour including 10 couture and 20 ready-to-wear pieces.
A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-13
On a regular basis, however, Mr. West can be spotted in far more affordable clothing, which for the layman is still quite steep. The good news is, these pieces will last you well beyond Halloween night. visvim‘s popular FBT silhouette are by now a staple of his wardrobe as are leather jogging pants which have been hot for a minute. Let’s not forget Kanye’s style advisor Virgil Abloh whose label PYREX VISION took over your Tumblr feed whether you wanted it to or not.
Brands/designers: Givenchy, Maison Martin Margiela, visvim, Louis Vuitton, Jordan Brand, Ralph Lauren, PYREX VISION

Tyler, The Creator
If there’s one brand that defines the Odd Future frontman’s style, it’s Supreme. In fact, Tyler is often credited with bringing the New York streetwear mainstay to the forefront over the past few years. Box logos on 5-panels and sweaters are a given, while classic sneakers from Vans are another staple.
More recently, the Los Angeles native has been focusing on his own brand done in collaboration with his cohorts. Bold graphics include illustrations done by Tyler himself with others featuring images of cats, dolphins, and camels. Unlike West and others on this list, Tyler’s look is a bit easier to replicate with most pieces available just a few clicks away.
Brands/designers: Supreme, Vans, Odd Future, Thrasher

A$AP Rocky
The only other rapper in the game giving Kanye any serious competition, A$AP Rocky has nearly perfected the art of balancing streetwear with high fashion, reflecting the ever-evolving menswear landscape. Although Rocky’s recent success has given him access to high-fashion’s finest, the New York native can still be seen wearing staple streetwear brands like Supreme and BAPE. Monochromatic outfits featuring cryptic symbols and premium leathers are equally as important to Rocky with brands like Rick OwensRaf SimonsBlack Scale and Hood By Air comprising a healthy portion of his wardrobe. If you manage to get your hands on some #rare pieces, the only other thing you’ll need are some braids and perhaps a pair of RETROSUPERFUTURE flat top shades.
Brands/designers: Supreme, BAPE, Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Black Scale, Hood By Air, SSUR, RETROSUPERFUTURE

Lady Gaga
Just like Yeezy, Lady Gaga‘s accomplishments are often overshadowed by her public image. Whether she’s in the studio with controversial photographer Terry Richardson or on a retreat with Marina Abramovic, Gaga’s fashion choices are always conscious and oftentimes puzzling. Although she rarely wears the same outfit twice, the 27-year-old pop star can often be found in either her birthday suit or something edging right on the border.
A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-14
Just when you think you’ve pegged her down, however, Gaga surprises with an outlandish outfit blending the flair of Salvador Dali with the stardom of David Bowie.
So what’s the key here?
Simple. Gravitate toward either extreme and you’ve got it.
Brands/designers: Charlie Le Mindu, Saint Laurent, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Versace, Armani

Pusha T
One half of hip-hop duo ClipsePusha T‘s efforts as a solo artist have proven just as successful with his latest album My Name Is My Name garnering both critical and commercial acclaim. With West as his executive producer, some of the Chicago rapper’s natural steeze has certainly rubbed off on King Push who can now be seen clad in the finest garbs from the likes of Marcelo Burlon and Alexander Wang. And the same success can be said for Play Cloths, the American streetwear line he co-founded back in 2008 with Clipse partner, No Malice. In addition, a leather-strap snapback has by now become a signature of the artist in addition to braids and more often than not, gold chains.
Brands/designers: Marcelo Burlon, Alexander Wang, Play Cloths

Steve Jobs
The man, the myth, the legend. Before you say “too soon,” consider the Apple cofounder’s uniform: three-piece rimless eyeglasses, a black turtleneck sweater, faded blue jeans and New Balance 992 sneakers. Not the most exciting wardrobe choices in the world but easily one of the most recognizable. Never one to overlook the tiniest of details, Jobs opted for the minimal clothing “because of its daily convenience and its ability to convey a signature style.”
In Walter Isaacson’s official biography, it was revealed Jobs enlisted Issey Miyake after visitingSony factories in the ’80s to make him some black turtlenecks. And by some, I mean a lifetime’s supply. You can keep it as legitimate as possible by copping a piece from the Japanese fashion designer’s collection or just grab any old unbranded piece from your local department or thrift store. Just like the man’s products, Jobs’ killer outfit revolves around its simplicity.
Brands/designers: Issey Miyake, Levi’s, New Balance

Banksy
Although Banksy‘s identity remains a mystery, one can approximate his look through the use of stereotypical street artist staples. A hoodie, bandana, loose but not too loose trousers and running shoes make sense for their practicality. A hoodie and bandana for concealment, and loose trousers and running shoes for, well, running if need be.
Of course you can also go the entirely opposite direction on this and opt for an inconspicuous outfit which in reality is probably more along the lines of what the English artist wears when throwing up a new piece.
If you really want to complete the look, get yourself a voice mask and things like, “Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don’t come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they’re having a piss.”
Brands/designers: Palace Skateboards, Carhartt, The North Face, Reebok

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-10
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus‘s performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards was one of the most talked about pop culture events of the year. Because of that, the outfit worn by the 20-year-old on that fateful night is now one of the year’s most memorable and is rivaled only by her equally scandalous outfit worn for the lens of Terry Richardson.
Whichever way you decide to go on this one, the key here is minimal. Unlike Lady Gaga, however, the other extreme doesn’t really exist at this point and the only other thing you need to do besides strip down is stick your tongue out. By far one of the easiest costumes of the year.

Brands/designers: Dr. Martens, Marc Jacobs, Atsuko Kudo

Franklin Clinton
One of three main characters in Rockstar Games’ latest masterpiece, Franklin Clinton epitomizes the modern-day Los Angeles gangster. Short-sleeve button-ups over long-sleeve tees and unbranded work pants suspiciously similar to Dickie’s characterize the Grand Theft Auto Vstar on a cooler day, while cargo shorts and a white tank with a baseball bat are staples of warmer days. Since the clothes won’t run you too much, feel free to spend the saved dough on a White Buffalo, which in real-world terms translates to a third-generation Chevy Camaro.
Brands/designers: Dickie’s, Chevrolet, Hanes

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-2
Richard Harrow
Perhaps one of the most enigmatic characters on television, Boardwalk Empire’s Richard Harrow continues to blur the line between being mysterious and being a monster. Donning wonderful overcoats meant to take the sting out of cold nights in Atlantic City with signature caps – and of course a war wound that isn’t merely for show – Harrow’s style starts from the core and emanates outward.
Brands/designers: Ralph Lauren, Alden, Brooks Brothers

Kim KardashianREX USA/MediaPunch Inc
Kim Kardashian celebrated her birthday in style!

The E! star, who turned 33 on Monday, Oct. 21 and experienced the surprise of a lifetime by getting engaged to Kanye West in front of friends and family in San Francisco, was in Las Vegas for a lavish party in her honor at Tao nightclub at the Venetian Hotel. The bash kicked off late Friday evening and continued into the wee hours of Saturday morning.

North West's mama looked gorgeous and glamorous for her big night, donning a white lace corset style formfitting dress, which flaunted her curves and cleavage to perfection. Her blond locks were styled in soft waves and she completed the look with her stunning engagement sparkler and gold strappy heels. She bought the dress while she was pregnant as an incentive to get back to her pre-baby body after having her daughter.

"Let the bday festivities begin Vega$" she captioned an Instagram pic, posing with a fierce entourage: Kourtney and pals Naya Rivera, Blac Chyna and Robin Antin.

She also added a snapshot with Vogue Italia Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani with the message "Yeezus Time." West and Sozzani are collaborating on an art project, set to debut in 2014.

Once inside the birthday bash, Kim was greeted with a giant cake and sparklers. She later took the microphone and addressed the packed club.
"Thank you for celebrating my 33rd bday with me!" she exclaimed.

The glitzy night featured a scantily clad "angel" in wings floating over the dance floor toward the party and servers held up signs that spelled "Kim." Beside the dance floor, a slide show was presented, featuring her previous Sin City birthday parties.

The newly engaged pair were spotted kissing and snuggling inside the party. Awwww!

Before her party, when asked if she would take the surname West, she dished yes, and that her name would be Kim Kardashian West.

Very exciting!

She also revealed that up until the bended knee moment, she thought she was just having dinner on a baseball field with West. She was in so much shock and was "shaking," but saved the tears for after the proposal.

As for the big day, she doesn't have a wedding dress yet and the size of the wedding will be up to Kanye.

What a wonderful, and very happy week for Kimye!
