Miley Cyrus Celebrates Christmas Early, Twerks on Santa at Jingle Ball

Miley Cyrus Christopher Polk/Getty Images for Clear Channel
Close your eyes Mrs. Claus.
Miley Cyrus gave Santa more than he bargained for when she performed at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball Friday, twerking in front of Old Saint Nick in a black sequined crop top and high-cut sequined briefs.
"You are a VERY BAD Santa ‪@CheyneThomas," Miley tweeted Saturday, along with a photo of herself dancing in front of the costumed Santa.
The 21-year-old singer closed out the LA radio station's annual event, hitting the stage to croon "We Can't Stop," "Party in the USA," "#GetItRight" and a cover of Lana Del Rey's hit song "Summertime Sadness" into a candy cane-covered microphone.

And although Robin Thicke didn't join Miley on stage this time, the duo did have a reunion of sorts backstage, where they were spotted chatting with each other and laughing.
In addition to the naughty Santa though, Miley was accompanied by dancers suited up in reindeer ears and high-cut white onesies, as well as a dancing Christmas tree.

Earlier in the night, the "We Can't Stop" crooner bared her midriff on the red carpet, striking a fierce pose in a Calvin Klein black cropped halter top and long black skirt.
Happy Holidays indeed.

Miley Cyrus Wears Nipple Pasty, Dresses Up as Lil' Kim at the 1999 MTV VMAs for Halloween

Miley CyrusInstagram
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Lil' Kim is definitely flattered.
Miley Cyrus celebrated Halloween a day early on Wednesday, Oct. 30, by wearing a replica of her favorite rapper's infamous 1999 MTV Video Music Awards look. The wigged singer rocked a jumpsuit and a periwinkle pasty and then snapped a series of selfies that she shared with fans via Instagram.
Lil' Kim gave the pop star her seal of approval via Twitter later that evening. "Awwww. Look at my baby @mileycyrus tonight!!! Looking GORGEOUS!!!" the hip-hop star tweeted. "I wish I was there to squeeze your boob :) :) Love U so much !!!! #mytwin."
(As you will recall, Diana Ross jiggled Lil' Kim's left breast while co-presenting at the '99 show.)
Miley CyrusInstagram
Cyrus' BFF Cheyne Thomas, meanwhile, dressed up as the singer by recreating her ensemble from the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. He modeled Cyrus' teddy bear leotard and foam finger, all while sticking his tongue out. He's not the first person to be inspired by her provocative performance with Robin Thicke: Paris Hilton, Joan Rivers and Crystal Harris mimicked Cyrus' style last weekend.
Cyrus had previously said that she feels a kinship with the "How Many Licks" rapper during an interview with Billboard. "In my past life, I feel like that was me. I feel like Lil Kim is who I am on the inside," she explained. "She just makes me happy...I just love her. And I can't help that I love her."
Miley CyrusInstagram
While listing her favorite female musicians, Cyrus also gave Nicki Minaj a shout-out. "You can't choose one—if you say Kim, then you've gotta say Nicki," she said. "Nicki is now like my Lil Kim of my generation."
Similarly, when Cyrus celebrated Halloween in 2012, she wore butt pads, a yellow wig and a leopard print bodysuit to get into character as the "Starships" rapper. She even sent a picture to Minaj's Twitter account, writing, "@NICKIMINAJ you a stupppppiddddd hoe."

A Highsnobiety Halloween | 10 Pop-Culture Inspired Costumes

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-16

Halloween is a time when real personalities become worldwide phenomenona and pop culture standouts step out of the land of make believe and into true existence. We live in a world where we may not admit that the aforementioned “cultural ambassadors” influence our style, but it’s hard to deny the effect that some of these people have on fashion. Call it a costume on October 31 or just call it “my style” the other 364 days out of the year. Highsnobiety plays in a space where we encounter everything from outrageous musicians, to innovators, to artists, to fictitious people on a daily basis. If you’re in need of a last minute costume, we’ve got you wrapped like a mummy.

A-Highsnobiety- Halloween-|-10-Costumes-for-Halloween 2013-8
Kanye West
Hands down the most polarizing figure in popular music, Kanye West‘s musical accomplishments are often either complemented by his unique style or overlooked depending on who you’re talking to. West’s tour with Jay Z for Watch The Throne saw the Chicago rapper clad in almost nothing but Givenchy apparel. For West’s latest tour, however, he opted for a healthy smattering of Maison Martin Margiela. It goes without saying then the look will cost you a pretty penny and an unrivaled amount of access to the French fashion house. Just the mask, in fact, will run you a cool $20,000.
Coinciding with the Yeezus tour’s beginnings, the label announced it had produced a number of exclusive pieces at its Parisian atelier based on garments in its archives including an embroidered, elongated bomber jacket, a blanket coat and printed trousers. MMM also developed a special pair of sneakers for West to wear alongside his signature Red Octobers. Although MMM only officially announced its responsibility for some of the pieces, a report in London’s Telegraphcredits the fashion house with all the looks for the tour including 10 couture and 20 ready-to-wear pieces.
A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-13
On a regular basis, however, Mr. West can be spotted in far more affordable clothing, which for the layman is still quite steep. The good news is, these pieces will last you well beyond Halloween night. visvim‘s popular FBT silhouette are by now a staple of his wardrobe as are leather jogging pants which have been hot for a minute. Let’s not forget Kanye’s style advisor Virgil Abloh whose label PYREX VISION took over your Tumblr feed whether you wanted it to or not.
Brands/designers: Givenchy, Maison Martin Margiela, visvim, Louis Vuitton, Jordan Brand, Ralph Lauren, PYREX VISION

Tyler, The Creator
If there’s one brand that defines the Odd Future frontman’s style, it’s Supreme. In fact, Tyler is often credited with bringing the New York streetwear mainstay to the forefront over the past few years. Box logos on 5-panels and sweaters are a given, while classic sneakers from Vans are another staple.
More recently, the Los Angeles native has been focusing on his own brand done in collaboration with his cohorts. Bold graphics include illustrations done by Tyler himself with others featuring images of cats, dolphins, and camels. Unlike West and others on this list, Tyler’s look is a bit easier to replicate with most pieces available just a few clicks away.
Brands/designers: Supreme, Vans, Odd Future, Thrasher

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-15
A$AP Rocky
The only other rapper in the game giving Kanye any serious competition, A$AP Rocky has nearly perfected the art of balancing streetwear with high fashion, reflecting the ever-evolving menswear landscape. Although Rocky’s recent success has given him access to high-fashion’s finest, the New York native can still be seen wearing staple streetwear brands like Supreme and BAPE. Monochromatic outfits featuring cryptic symbols and premium leathers are equally as important to Rocky with brands like Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Black Scale and Hood By Air comprising a healthy portion of his wardrobe. If you manage to get your hands on some #rare pieces, the only other thing you’ll need are some braids and perhaps a pair of RETROSUPERFUTURE flat top shades.
Brands/designers: Supreme, BAPE, Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Black Scale, Hood By Air, SSUR, RETROSUPERFUTURE

Lady Gaga
Just like Yeezy, Lady Gaga‘s accomplishments are often overshadowed by her public image. Whether she’s in the studio with controversial photographer Terry Richardson or on a retreat with Marina Abramovic, Gaga’s fashion choices are always conscious and oftentimes puzzling. Although she rarely wears the same outfit twice, the 27-year-old pop star can often be found in either her birthday suit or something edging right on the border.
A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-14
Just when you think you’ve pegged her down, however, Gaga surprises with an outlandish outfit blending the flair of Salvador Dali with the stardom of David Bowie.
So what’s the key here?
Simple. Gravitate toward either extreme and you’ve got it.
Brands/designers: Charlie Le Mindu, Saint Laurent, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Versace, Armani

A-Highsnobiety- Halloween-|-10-Costumes-for-Halloween 2013-9
Pusha T
One half of hip-hop duo Clipse, Pusha T‘s efforts as a solo artist have proven just as successful with his latest album My Name Is My Name garnering both critical and commercial acclaim. With West as his executive producer, some of the Chicago rapper’s natural steeze has certainly rubbed off on King Push who can now be seen clad in the finest garbs from the likes of Marcelo Burlon and Alexander Wang. And the same success can be said for Play Cloths, the American streetwear line he co-founded back in 2008 with Clipse partner, No Malice. In addition, a leather-strap snapback has by now become a signature of the artist in addition to braids and more often than not, gold chains.
Brands/designers: Marcelo Burlon, Alexander Wang, Play Cloths

Steve Jobs
The man, the myth, the legend. Before you say “too soon,” consider the Apple cofounder’s uniform: three-piece rimless eyeglasses, a black turtleneck sweater, faded blue jeans and New Balance 992 sneakers. Not the most exciting wardrobe choices in the world but easily one of the most recognizable. Never one to overlook the tiniest of details, Jobs opted for the minimal clothing “because of its daily convenience and its ability to convey a signature style.”
In Walter Isaacson’s official biography, it was revealed Jobs enlisted Issey Miyake after visitingSony factories in the ’80s to make him some black turtlenecks. And by some, I mean a lifetime’s supply. You can keep it as legitimate as possible by copping a piece from the Japanese fashion designer’s collection or just grab any old unbranded piece from your local department or thrift store. Just like the man’s products, Jobs’ killer outfit revolves around its simplicity.
Brands/designers: Issey Miyake, Levi’s, New Balance
Pieces to consider: St. Croix Turtleneck, 501 Original, 990v3

A-Highsnobiety- Halloween-|-10-Costumes-for-Halloween 2013-5
Banksy
Although Banksy‘s identity remains a mystery, one can approximate his look through the use of stereotypical street artist staples. A hoodie, bandana, loose but not too loose trousers and running shoes make sense for their practicality. A hoodie and bandana for concealment, and loose trousers and running shoes for, well, running if need be.
Of course you can also go the entirely opposite direction on this and opt for an inconspicuous outfit which in reality is probably more along the lines of what the English artist wears when throwing up a new piece.
If you really want to complete the look, get yourself a voice mask and things like, “Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don’t come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they’re having a piss.”
Brands/designers: Palace Skateboards, Carhartt, The North Face, Reebok

Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus‘s performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards was one of the most talked about pop culture events of the year. Because of that, the outfit worn by the 20-year-old on that fateful night is now one of the year’s most memorable and is rivaled only by her equally scandalous outfit worn for the lens of Terry Richardson.
Whichever way you decide to go on this one, the key here is minimal. Unlike Lady Gaga, however, the other extreme doesn’t really exist at this point and the only other thing you need to do besides strip down is stick your tongue out. By far one of the easiest costumes of the year.

Franklin Clinton
One of three main characters in Rockstar Games’ latest masterpiece, Franklin Clinton epitomizes the modern-day Los Angeles gangster. Short-sleeve button-ups over long-sleeve tees and unbranded work pants suspiciously similar to Dickie’s characterize the Grand Theft Auto Vstar on a cooler day, while cargo shorts and a white tank with a baseball bat are staples of warmer days. Since the clothes won’t run you too much, feel free to spend the saved dough on a White Buffalo, which in real-world terms translates to a third-generation Chevy Camaro.
Brands/designers: Dickie’s, Chevrolet, Hanes

A-Highsnobiety--Halloween-_-10-Costumes-for-Halloween-2013-2
Richard Harrow
Perhaps one of the most enigmatic characters on television, Boardwalk Empire’s Richard Harrow continues to blur the line between being mysterious and being a monster. Donning wonderful overcoats meant to take the sting out of cold nights in Atlantic City with signature caps – and of course a war wound that isn’t merely for show – Harrow’s style starts from the core and emanates outward.

Marvin Gaye's Kids Sue Robin Thicke Over "Blurred Lines" and "Love After War"

Marvin Gaye's kids feel that "Blurred Lines" crossed a few legal boundaries.
Two of the late singer's grown children have filed a lawsuit against Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and fellow producer Clifford Harris Jr., alleging that their superlatively popular summer jam wrongfully borrowed from their father's song "Got to Give It Up," and that Thicke's "Love After War" ripped off Gaye's "After the Dance."
Siblings Frankie and Nona Gaye state in their suit that the defendants are guilty of the "blatant copying of a constellation of distinctive and significant compositional elements of Marvin Gaye's classic No. 1 song," according to documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

While Thicke has acknowledged Gaye's influence when it comes to his general musical proclivities, he also filed in August, amid rumblings that the Gaye family was ticked off by his tune, for a preemptive judgment that his songs are his own.
They cite an interview Thicke gave to GQ in which he said, "Pharrell and I were in the studio and I told him that one of my favorite songs of all time was Marvin Gaye's 'Got to Give It Up.' I was like, 'Damn, we should make something like that, something with that groove.' Then he started playing a little something and we literally wrote the song in about a half hour and recorded it."
"Being reminiscent of a 'sound' is not copyright infringement," Thicke's complaint stated. "The intent in producing 'Blurred Lines' was to evoke an era."
"There are no similarities between plaintiffs' composition and those the claimants allege they own, other than commonplace musical elements," the suit continued. "Plaintiffs created a hit and did it without copying anyone else's composition."
Not so, claim Nona and Frankie Gaye, who are alleging copyright infringement, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract and recission directed against music publisher EMI. They claim the label failed the family by failing to protect their father's music.
They are also claiming copyright infringement regarding Thicke's "Love After War," stating that it shares "a similar chorus, hook melody and more with Gaye's 'After the Dance.'"
The plaintiffs are asking for damanges and contend that EMI should not only forfeit profits from "Blurred Lines" but also be stripped of the right to administer Gaye's song catalog.
"Plaintiffs anticipated a baseless counterclaim for copyright infringement when they filed their original complaint for declaratory relief, so no surprise there," Howard King, attorney for defendants, said in a statement to THR. "What is surprising in their press-release-disguised-as-a-complaint (much of which will eventually be stricken by the court) is their acknowledgment that the Gaye family has no standing to bring a copyright claim. For this, they blame EMI, the administrator and registered copyright owner of the Marvin Gaye songs.
"Obviously, EMI, which is in the business of collecting substantial sums for actual infringements, regardless of the publishing affiliations of the infringers, consulted their own expert musicologists who gave the same opinion our 3 musicologists gave: The genres of the songs are the same, the notes are different. So whether or not plaintiffs are fans of Marvin Gaye is irrelevant; no infringement occurred here."
Marvin Gaye III, who was named in Thicke's initial complaint but isn't party to his siblings' countersuit, told E! News this summer that he believed credit should be given where it's due.
"The lack of respect for the Marvin Gaye name is something people think they can get away with," he said. "By them suing us, they want us to bow down and give them what they want."

Miley Cyrus Poses Nude on Rolling Stone Cover, Says She Weighs 108 Pounds

Miley CyrusRolling Stone Magazine
Miley Cyrus calls herself a "semi-nudist" in the Oct. 8 issue of Rolling Stone, and judging by the magazine's cover, that's quite an understatement. Posing for photographer Theo Wenner, the naked pop star sticks out her tongue at the camera. With her platinum hair slicked back and her eyeliner smudged, Cyrus once again proves she's not the cookie-cutter Disney Channel star she once was.
In the accompanying interview, Cyrus speaks candidly about her polarizing performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. She admits to getting a little "handsy" with Robin Thicke, but says it's no worse than what he did to her. "No one is talking about the man behind the ass. It was a lot of 'Miley twerks on Robin Thicke,' but never, 'Robin Thicke grinds up on Miley.' They're only talking about the one that bent over," she says. "So obviously there's a double standard."

"America is just so weird in what they think is right and wrong," she adds. "Like, I was watching Breaking Badthe other day, and they were cooking meth. I could literally cook meth because of that show. It's a how-to. And then they bleeped out the word 'f--k.' And I'm like, really? They killed a guy, and disintegrated his body in acid, but you're not allowed to say 'f--k'? It's like when they bleeped 'molly' at the VMAs. Look what I'm doing up here right now, and you're going to bleep out 'molly'? Whatever."
Cyrus, 20, was amused by her critics, particularly Brooke Shields, who played her mom on Hannah Montana and called the performance "desperate."
"Brooke Shields was in a movie where she was a prostitute at age 12!" Cyrus says with a laugh, referencing Shields' role in the controversial 1978 filmPretty Baby.
Cyrus, of course, knows her antics are raising quite a few eyebrows. "I think it's an important time not to Google myself," she admits.
Though her VMAs performance was widely panned, Cyrus says she "wasn't trying to be sexy" when she sang "We Can't Stop" and "Blurred Lines" with Thicke. "If I was trying to be sexy, I could have been sexy. I can dance a lot better than I was dancing," she explains. The singer also acknowledges that her stubby pigtails made her "look like a little creature."
Cyrus also tells Rolling Stone that her twerking has gotten out of hand. "People are like, 'Miley thinks she's a black girl, but she's got the flattest ass ever,'" she says. "I'm like, ‘I'm 108 pounds! I know!' Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I'll probably never do that s--t again."

Robin Thicke Suffers a Wardrobe Malfunction

Robin ThickeKevin Mazur for iHeartRadio
Robin Thicke kicked off the iHeart Radio Music Festival with a pop—literally.
The "Blurred Lines" singer suffered a wardrobe malfunction on Friday night when he hit the stage.
Robin showed more skin than he intended when a button on his shirt popped off, revealing Thicke's midriff. A photographer in the pit pointed out the mishap to Thicke, who then attempted to tuck in his shirt.
But that wasn't the only wardrobe malfunction the singer endured.
Later during his performance, the singer's pants came partly unzipped! However, Thicke took the incident in stride, reportedly laughing off the moment with presenter Ryan Seacrest while wife Paula Patton and son Julian cheered him on backstage.

Robin Thicke Steps Out in NYC With Paula Patton and Adorable Son Julian

Paula Patton, Robin Thicke, JulianFreddie Baez/startraksphoto.com
Robin Thicke's family is one happy bunch!
The "Blurred Lines" singer, his wife, Paula Patton, and their 3-year-old son, Julian, were all smiles while stepping out together in NYC earlier today.
The adorable trio was snapped holding hands while leaving the Greenwich Hotel. Thicke was dressed in black sneakers, black pants and black sweater with sunglasses. Patton wore white boots, jeans, a white blouse and jackets with handbag, sunglasses and hat.
As for their cutie pie son, Julian rocked gray skinny jeans, sneakers, robot T-shirt and jacket.
Last weekend, Thicke was in Las Vegas performing some of his hits for fans at The Palms' Ditch Fridays pool party.
Thicke will be in Vegas again this upcoming weekend to perform at The Mirage's 1OAK nightclub Saturday night. He'll then head off to England for the iTunes Festival in London. "One week til the @iTunesFestival. Looking forward to getting back to London. #iTunesFestival," he tweeted yesterday.

Miley Cyrus Gets Completely Naked in "Wrecking Ball" Music Video—Watch Now

Miley Cyrus, Wrecking Ballrcarecords
Well, it's a change of pace from "We Can't Stop."
After weeks of anticipation, Miley Cyrus' new music video for "Wrecking Ball"—the second single from her forthcoming album Bangerz—has hit the web, and no surprise, the clip is bound to raise some eyebrows.
"It's officially here #wreckingballonvevoNOW," the 20-year-old pop star tweeted this morning.
There's not a twerking teddy bear in sight in the video directed by Terry Richardson, which emphasizes Miley's music instead of mind-blowing moments like we saw in the clip for Cyrus' party anthem "We Can't Stop."

But while Miley may leave her signature twerking skills at home, the scandalous star still manages to create controversy, stripping down to her birthday suit and straddling atop a large wrecking ball while taking the prop for a sexy spin.
When the erstwhile Disney star's not completely naked, she goes braless in a tiny white cropped tank, matching panties and a maroon pair of Docs, rocking bright red lips while flaunting her fabulous figure for the camera.
The video also gives viewers a look at the singer's vulnerable side as she belts out the heartbreaking lyrics to the breakup ballad while the clips cuts to a close-up shot of Cyrus shedding a tear.
Of course, since this is Miley, the serious moments are coupled with shots of the performer sticking out her tongue, licking a sledgehammer and swinging around nude on a wrecking ball.

Miley Cyrus, Wrecking BallVevo
After the release of the music video, the young beauty—who will be performing on and hosting SNL Oct. 5—took to Twitter to post a link of the clip with the hashtag, #WreckTheRecord, alerting her loyals Smilers that she will release the track list forBangerz if her fans break the record for the most VEVO views in a 24-hour period ("We Can't Stop" broke the previous record).
The clip is sure to be the latest headline-making effort from Miley, who's been the talk of the tabloids since the release of her music video "We Can't Stop" followed by her controversial performance of the single with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.
Miley has since responded to the backlash, telling MTV News, "Me and Robin, the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now,'" she recalled. "What's amazing is I think now, we're three days later, and people are still talking about it."
We're willing to place bets on "Wrecking Ball" having the same effect.
What do you think of the "Wrecking Ball" music video? Tell us in the comments!

Miley Cyrus: Why Chris Hemsworth Still Hasn't Watched Her MTV VMA Performance

Chris Hemsworth, Miley CyrusPaul Hampartsoumian/Neilson Barnard/Getty Images for MTV
Miley Cyrus could be Chris Hemsworth's sister-in-law some day, but that doesn't mean the Thor star is in any rush to watch her controversial MTV VMAs performance.
"I haven't seen it," Hemsworth told an E! news insider earlier today while promoting his new Ron Howard-directed drama Rush at the Toronto Film Festival.
He really hasn't seen Cyrus' twerk-filled act with the now infamous foam finger and the too-close-for-comfort Robin Thicke gyrations?
"I've been in Kuala Lumpur two weeks ago, then Jakarta, then Hong Kong [and] Toronto now," Hemsworth explained. "The breaks I get, they're with my family. There's not much surfing the 'net at the moment."
Especially when he wants to be with his and wife Elsa Pataky's 16-month-old daughter India Rose.
"She's been walking for a while now but she's getting better and better at it," the proud papa gushed. "She's got kinda that drunken walk thing. She has her hand up in the air because she's used to holding your hand even when it's not there now…She's fantastic. She's great."
Aww.

Hemsworth will soon reunite with Howard to make In the Heart of the Sea, a drama about the shipwreck story that inspired Herman Melville's Moby Dick.
Downtime for the hunky Aussie will come around Christmas. But, then it's back to work when cameras start rolling in February or early March on The Avengerssequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Robin Thicke Posts Family Vacation Photo After Risqué Pic With Fan Surfaces, Risks Wife's Own Nip Slip

Paula Patton, Robin Thicke, Julian, Family Vacation, TwitterTwitter

Sorry, mystery girl, but Robin Thicke's still a family man!
The "Blurred Lines" singer posted an Instagram pic of his family boating on vacation in Florida Friday, captioning the photo: "Family vaca!" The pic shows that Thicke and his wife Paula Patton still seem to be "all good" despite Robin's recent touchy-feely photo with a fan.

After Thicke's risqué performance with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards, the singer continued to make headlines when a photo surfaced of him placing his hand on the butt of a mystery blond, now identified as Lana Scolaro.
Lana exclusively confirmed to E! News that the up close and personal pic is real, despite reports that his hands weren't on her rear end. Adding that she met him a week prior to the party and had "just moved to New York about a month ago."
Lana even admitted: "I knew his hand was on my butt, but I didn't know that there was a mirror," she explained.
However, have no fear for the adorable family, a source confirmed with E! News that the photo is a "non-issue" between the couple. Of course Patton obviously knows her way around risqué, as you can see when you take a gander at her near nip-slip here. Oops!
We'd now like to present Paula Patton with the Most Understanding Wife Ever award!

Robin Thicke Photo Scandal: Mystery Girl Confirms Butt-Grabbing Photo Is Real

Robin Thicke, Paula PattonTwitter
What was more shocking than Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs performance on Sunday? A photo showing Robin Thicke putting his hand on a blond fan's butt at the after party.
The mystery girl, Lana Scolaro, exclusively confirms to E! News that the photo is real, despite reports that his hands aren't on her rear end.
When asked how the photo came about, she explained that she met him a week prior to the party and had "just moved to New York about a month ago."
In the photo, it appears that we can see Thicke and the young lady's backs reflected in a mirror—and his hand looks questionably close to her butt.
So was she aware of what frenzy would ensue upon posting the snapshot?
"I knew his hand was on my butt, but I didn't know that there was a mirror," she explained.
And despite people claiming that the pic was altered in some way, she explains, "I don't even know how to use Photoshop."
She added, "I didn't even know that was the reflection until I uploaded it, and someone commented on it. I was just like, ‘Oh I'll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke, like everybody else.'"
After she uploaded the captured-on-camera moment, an obviously concerned Twitter user tweeted it to Thicke's wife, actress Paula Patton.
