The Top 25 Places People Checked In On Facebook In 2013 Shows The Most Popular Destination In The World

The Top 25 Places People Checked In On Facebook In 2013 Shows The Most Popular Destination In The World
Going on vacation seems to be less and less about having a good time and more for checking in somewhere on social media to improve clout to those who follow our lives online.
To prove this, Facebook has listed the 25 most checked-in places on the massive social network, from Disneyland in Anaheim, California, to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
From sporting arenas to popular city squares, the list shows some of the most famous places all over the world.
Of the top 25 places, the common theme seems to be Disney, as four Disney theme parks made the list, from California,ParisTokyo and Hong Kong, proving people want to see Mickey Mouse and friends all over the globe.
One thing that stands out about the list is there isn’t a check-in from New York City on the list, and this may be due to the fact that there isn’t one central location in which people would check in.
Here are the top 25 places people checked in during 2013, according to Facebook:
Argentina: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires
Australia: Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), East Melbourne, Victoria

Jay Z Responds to Barneys Backlash, Defends Clothing Deal With the Company

Jay Z is speaking out after petitioners urged him to end his clothing deal withBarneys New York, citing the reported racial profiling of two customers in one of the retail stores in New York City.
On his website Life +Times Saturday, the hip hop mogul said his collaboration with the retail store is rooted in charity and that he was waiting for all the facts to come in before making a decision.
"This collaboration lives in a place of giving and is about the Foundation," Jay-Z said. "I am not making a dime from this collection; I do not stand to make millions, as falsely reported. I need to make that fact crystal clear."

The rapper went on to say that 25 percent of all sales from the collaboration would be donated to the Shawn Carter Foundation, which provides scholarships to needy students. Ten percent of all sales generated in the store Nov. 20 will also be donated, with Barneys making an additional donation on top of that as well.
"This money is going to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships to help further their education at institutions of higher learning," he went on. "My idea was born out of creativity and charity…not profit."
According to the Los Angeles Times, a young African American college student, Trayon Christian, was arrested in NYC after he made a $350 purchase at Barneys New York. His arrest reportedly occurred after a Barney's sales clerk called police because she thought the transaction was fraudulent.
A few days later, 21-year-old Kayla Phillips also came forward with a similar story, saying she was surrounded by police and questioned after she bought a purse from the store. She was reportedly also accused of using a fraudulent card.
News of the arrests sparked a petition on Change.org, which "lifelong Jay Z fan" Derick Bowers started in an effort to get the rapper to "withdraw his support" from Barney's and end his clothing deal with the company.
"The negligent, erroneous reports and attacks on my character, intentions, and the spirit of this collaboration have forced me into a statement I didn't want to make without the full facts," Jay Z continued in the statement. "Making a decision prematurely to pull out of this project, wouldn't hurt Barneys or Shawn Carter, but all the people that stand a chance at higher education."
Jay Z, who said he's "no stranger to profiling," added, "Hopefully this brings forth a dialogue to effect real change."
The star's collaboration with Barney's—a collection of high-end merchandise, includes a $70 t-shirt, a Shawn ‘JAY Z' Carter for Stutterheim raincoat, and the pricey $33,900 Shawn Carter watch by Hublot, among other things.
The collection is set to debut Nov. 20 at Barneys stores in select stores across the country.

Kim Kardashian Causes Media Frenzy at Airport & Morgan Spurlock Was in the Middle of It All—Take a Look!

Kim Kardashian's back on American ground.
The E! star, who spent the last few days in Paris enjoying Fashion Week with her beau Kanye West, caused a bit of a media frenzy when landing solo at Los Angeles International Airport after being swarmed by paparazzi.
And guess who was right in the middle of the shutterbugs joining the picture-snapping party? Morgan Spurlock.
Yep, the documentary filmmaker (who recently used his creative juices for One Direction's This Is Us) is currently working on a project about the paps, and got some first-hand experience on that lifestyle today.

Kim showed off her amazing post-baby curves throughout her trip.
And although she strutted a handful of memorable numbers, one in particular really got people talking.
She stunned in a cleavage-baring Givenchy dress (pulled right off the runway) that left little to the imagination. Kim paired the cutout gown with a dark lip (super in for fall!) and pushed her hair to the off to the side to frame her face.
"Last night in Paris! This dress pulled off the runway from the Givenchy show! Styled by@riccardotisci17 & @crfashionbook for Carine's film Mademoiselle C!" she wrote on Instagram with three shots of the outfit

Kim Kardashian Wears Nori Necklace During Paris Fashion Week

Kim KardashianAbaca/AKM-GSI
North West may not have been front row at Paris Fashion Week but Kim Kardashian made sure her daughter was there in spirit.
The new mom was spotted rocking a gold-plated "Nori" necklace (the three-month old's nickname) while out in about in the City of Lights with proud papa Kanye West.
It seems to be a bit of a tradition in the Kardashian family to celebrate their newest little one to the clan with these custom nameplates.
Last July right after Koutney Kardashian and Scott Disick welcomed baby girl Penelope, Kim, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner all donned similar styles that reads:
"Mason Hearts Penelope"
Last year's necklaces were designed by Jennifer Meyer (Tobey Maguire's wife) and we wouldn't be surprised if she was also the creator of Kim's new bling.
And while Nori may have skipped the Givenchy show, she is scheduled to accompany her newly blond mama on several of Kayne's tour dates next month.

Well, at least she didn't have a wardrobe malfunction.
Miley Cyrus continued making the promotional rounds for her forthcoming album Bangerzin London Wednesday morning, where she was snapped leaving her hotel in a rather, er,interesting ensemble.
(On the up side, girl was fully clothed.)
The 20-year-old pop star was all smiles in a pair of rather bizarre pants, which featured one skinny leg and one wide leg in addition to sexy sheer paneling on the skinny-leg side.

Cyrus skipped underwear, showing off the right side of her bum, which was strategically exposed by the minimal sheer material (à la Gwyneth Paltrow's Iron Man 3 premiere gown), while keeping her left leg covered up for the conservative quarter of her outfit.
The fashionista added a matching cropped vest that concealed her tummy, as well as a tiny bra top to complete her sultry all-black look. She wore her signature gold Chanel jewelry and strappy high-heeled sandals, clutching a small Chanel purse in her right hand.
Miley made waves this week when she released the music video for her second single "Wrecking Ball," which features the former Hannah Montana star stripping down to her birthday suit, straddling a wrecking ball nude and licking a sledgehammer, natch.
While the controversial clip has certainly received some backlash, the music video broke Vevo's record for the most-viewed clip—receiving some 19 million views in its first 24 hours.

As a thank-you to her loyal Smilers, Miley released the track list for her highly anticipated album, which will hit airwaves in just 27 days.
As E! News previously reported, the platinum-haired pop star recorded a duet with Britney Spears, titled "SMS (Bangerz)." The album also features collaborations with NellyBig Sean and Future.
The sassy starlet also took to Twitter this morning to reveal she will release the director's cut of her music video if the clip hits 150 million views on Vevo.
"ok so were already to 40 million so quick... how about directors cut once smilers get it to 150 million???? =] i know yall love a challenge," she tweeted this morning before adding, "Directors cut of Wrecking Ball coming when this hits 150 million!"
Start watching, Smilers!

Dreams Do Come True: The Final Touch

LIGHT FOR A STARRY NIGHT

Obviously this is the continuation of Dreams Do Come True part I. Dude I got 30 views on that page and I went cray cray. I hope this will do better. I skipped practice at school today cause something urgent happened last night then decided to finish the Eiffel Tower this morning. YES I FINISHED IT! Holy grail!

Shining shimmering splendid? I know. My poor lungs are full of silver and gold glitters right now and it took me 3 hours to finished it. By the way the I didn't do the metal stand at the back part of the tower. Some good Samaritan made it for me. I'm planning to sell this Eiffel Tower instead of cherishing it around the house or room. Leave a comnment or check the about me box if you are interested.

I'd like to take this opportunity to give credits to the people who helped me out making this even some of them won't check this. First is my aunt for giving such generous tips when I'm having a hard time figuring things out and for making the Eiffel Tower stand. Second is the good Samaritan, the operator downstairs who made the metal stand even if I told him in such a short notice. Finally the QA Department who had been so helpful and generous in giving me stuffs like the white glue and glitters.

Dreams Do Come True

Nico Antonio: "The Man of the Hour" launched his first BTS photo beside the Eiffel Tower

Look at that cutie patootie smiling like an angel beside that cool art I made. I chose him as my model for some reasons. One is to make the tower more realistic and two is his just too cute that makes the background pretty amazing. That was a stolen shot, obviously cause his not looking at the camera but at least It turned out well.

When I was in high school I love to draw stuffs. Well it's my dream to become an architect but as we all know I don't even qualify being one by giving you some of my reasons: First I am lazy and second I AM TOO LAZY. Honestly I think I can push my dream to become a reality when I'm mature enough to do things and face it. I guess after I get a degree or experience something really hard that will shake-off my world. For now? I'd rather face the computer for 24 hours straight or blog non sense than do some calculus and never ending plates in one night. I'm not yet ready for those kind of sufferings, yeah I know I'm a coward and I couldn't agree more!!!

I was assigned to do the Eiffel tower for our role-play in one of my subjects and it's all about french literature. I cannot say NO to my loving groupmates cause they're my friends. DUH so I decided to sort things out and face reality... I did it. yeah you want proof? There you go

I started doing that as soon as I got the stuff from the book store. Then yesterday I bought some Popsicle sticks, one whole illustration board and black felt paper. I also needed some glue to stick them all together.
I started doing the sketch  for the size and proportions around 5 p.m. yesterday. Then I got tired and pause at 9 p.m. continued it on the next day. But unfortunately we had to do some practices for the role-play so I needed to visit school to help them. After that I went home straight and continue with the Eiffel tower to finish it as soon as possible. I finished exactly at 7 p.m and it turned out great.
