The Top 25 Places People Checked In On Facebook In 2013 Shows The Most Popular Destination In The World

The Top 25 Places People Checked In On Facebook In 2013 Shows The Most Popular Destination In The World
Going on vacation seems to be less and less about having a good time and more for checking in somewhere on social media to improve clout to those who follow our lives online.
To prove this, Facebook has listed the 25 most checked-in places on the massive social network, from Disneyland in Anaheim, California, to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
From sporting arenas to popular city squares, the list shows some of the most famous places all over the world.
Of the top 25 places, the common theme seems to be Disney, as four Disney theme parks made the list, from California,ParisTokyo and Hong Kong, proving people want to see Mickey Mouse and friends all over the globe.
One thing that stands out about the list is there isn’t a check-in from New York City on the list, and this may be due to the fact that there isn’t one central location in which people would check in.
Here are the top 25 places people checked in during 2013, according to Facebook:

When Kids In Third World Countries Read First World Problems, They Suddenly Don’t Feel Like Problems

Ah, First World Problems. If you live in a western country, for one reason or another, you’re probably guilty of uttering one of these phrases.
Sure, minor inconveniences can really make a day unpleasant, but when put into perspective, having cold leather seats when you get into your car during the winter isn’t the end of the world.
Not having clean water, however, is an entirely different story. In order to highlight what “problems” actually are, Water Is Life launched the “First World Problems Anthem” video last year.
The video consists of people in the Third World reading tweets that were labeled with the hashtag #FirstWorldProblems. The stark contrast is sure to make the line at Starbucks seem like much less of a big deal.

Miley Cyrus' highly anticipated MTV EMAs performance is almost here.
But before the pop sensation takes the stage later this evening in Amsterdam, she stopped by the German TV showWetten ... Dass? on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Hamburg.
The songstress' ensemble resembled a strawberry, a black patterned midriff baring top and matching miniskirt with little red hearts shaped like the fruit. The outfit also featured green fringe on the collar and hem, resembling leaves. She accompanied the look with bright lipstick, several necklaces and bracelets and her hair styled in two little topknots.
The 20-year-old performed her hit "Wrecking Ball," and also revealed that her godmother, Dolly Parton, is her "role model."
Parton came to her goddaughter's defense recently, telling the London's Standard "I know that she has thought this all through. We'll let her go and do her own thing," the living legend said in an interview that was published on Friday, Nov. 1.

Several hours prior to hitting the red carpet, Cyrus tweeted a naked selfie—because why not—while getting ready.
"I got that shower time showerrrrrr time selfiiiie. (A la lana del ray) ," she tweeted, along with three alien emoji icons.
She is staring down and away from the camera on "game day," as she called it in a follow-up tweet. Cyrus is showing her bare shoulders, the twin topknots are back and she is sporting some necklaces.

Lady Gaga Goes Braless and Barefoot, Flashes Nipples in Berlin—See the Pic

Well, it seems that Lady Gaga has indeed outdone herself.
At least, since yesterday.
Just one day after the Mother Monster stepped out wearing a giant bird-like mask over her head while promoting her upcoming album ARTPOP, the 27-year-old "Applause" singer was seen barefoot on the streets of Berlin wearing a sheer dress with no bra (natch).
The blond beauty—who wore her long locks down and subtle red lip for the occasion—held her arms up while saluting a statue, letting the loose white fabric from her eclectic dress drape over her naked body (well, almost naked, she is wearing a pair of panties).

Lady G has been busy wearing a series of bizarre outfits while promoting her forthcoming album Artpop, which is due for release Nov. 11.
In addition to her sporting her unusual chicken mask yesterday, the "Judas" singer appeared at her Artpop album launch event in the German capital on Thursday wearing a sexy black bra top, matching tights, a lingerie garter and...a mustache. She completed her vampy look with a fur coat, sky-high heels, a pink pout and elegant white lashes.
The performer most recently released her track "Do What U Want" featuring R. Kelly, and she shared a :40 second snippet of her single "Venus" on social media this morning.
"I composed ARTPOP to be a full experience, we are releasing all these songs and snippets to give you a more complete picture of the album," the pop star wrote. "You can of course always choose your favorite songs off an album but it was designed be a trip, heard from start to finish #17DAYSTillArtpop."
