We’ve been chronicling the misadventures of Chris Brown for a while now, but this might be the funniest aspect of his rehab saga. The R&B superstar apparently wanted to bring his weed with him to the facility he was ordered to spend 90 days in. The rehab denied his request.
TMZ reports that Brown gave up his phone and Internet, but apparently was unwilling to part with his pot. Brown told the rehab staff that he was prescribed marijuana for depression, but they weren’t having it. Brown apparently claimed that pot makes him calm, although all of his violent actions have occurred while he’s had ready access to it.
Brown was sentenced to 90 days in rehab after he left an anger management program just two weeks into his mandated 90 days. He reportedly threw a temper tantrum that included throwing a rock through his mother’s car window, which led to the early departure. But after that, a judge sentenced him to complete a 90-day stay in rehabilitation while he waits for a probation hearing and the fallout from his assault case in DC.
Brown is the adult personification of a spoiled, whiny brat. He can’t control his temper, his impulses rule his actions and he thinks the world owes him something. Focus on getting your career back and stop hitting people, Chris. Until then, have fun without burning down that sweet, sweet cheeba.
