Gucci Mane Wasn’t Acting In Spring Breakers: The Rapper Faces 20 Years On Federal Gun Charges

Gucci Mane Wasn’t Acting In Spring Breakers: The Rapper Faces 20 Years On Federal Gun Charges
Gucci Mane is having a very sad, strange 2013. He was abandoned by his friends, dealt with lean addiction and eventually ended up suing his best friend Waka Flocka Flame and Waka’s mother, Debra Antney.
Gucci is going off the rails, and he really may just need a hug. But things have just gotten way worse in the form of federal gun charges.
Gucci was recently told that he had to turn over his weapons to police, but it may have been a trap, and not the kind where Gucci pitches coke from. Yesterday, Gucci was charged with two counts of possession of guns as a felon, which could lead to 20-years in prison.
You’d think that when you cooperate and turn your guns over to police, they’d give you a break. Especially if you’ve been having a very rough year, and you’re a mush-mouthed rapper with limitless potential. Perhaps this prosecutor press release might illuminate things:
“On September 12, 2013, Davis, who was a felon at the time, was found in possession of a firearm…Then, just two days later, on September 14th, he again possessed a firearm different from the earlier gun. On both occasions, Davis displayed the loaded firearm, acted erratically, and made threats to individuals, including police and his attorney.”
Each firearm Gucci was caught with could get him 10-years in prison and carry a fine up to $250,000. Gucci, it’s gonna be a cold winter, so please bundle up and get out of jail soon. The screets need you.
